The muse still looks like a decent option, but the 4-way pass thru, auto focus, & motorized z were bigger than expected selling points on the ls 1416 when I looked at what was required on the muse. Essentially I can get more bang from my buck with the Boss LS 1416, if I choose a slightly less pretty exterior.

Newbie to the laser world, have been using diode lasers and am thinking of taking the plunge with a CO2 unit. Right now I am thinking the OMTech red/black units, and am trying to decide between the 80W autofocus and the 100W manual focus. Most of my work will be with wood and will be doing cutting of thin to moderate product as well as marking.
