I’ve assumed that setting up the work such that the Z-axis is the tool axis (up and down) is correct with the X-axis being left and right, and the Y-axis being front to back (relative to the machine). My model does not look as smooth as it did in my other 3D package. My 3D SketchUp model is not importing to flat panels correctly in Aspire or VCarve. I have updated Sketchup and now cannot open my files in Aspire or VCarve. I can see through my model when it is imported.
This can happen when cutter compensation is set to "In Control" on 2D Profile toolpaths for a post processor that does not support cutter compensation. Dec 23, 2020· not sure what that means, sorry. you're saying I can take the mach 3 laser file you made and edit it? or are you saying there is a mach 4 laser post processer out there that I'm not seeing? autodesk's processor files only show mach 4 milling, and that post file has no text within it regarding lasers, and will not post the toolpath in fusion when I try and post it.
